Whats on my easel

I thought I would get back to blogging. I gave up on it for a while when I created my facebook page, but then I thought. Why can't I do both.

I'm going to start with whats on my easel.

I have been working on a series of paintings based on clowns. Sad clown, Happy clowns, angry clowns, grumpy clowns etc.

This one is almost finished. Its 1200mm ny 1200mm oil on stretched canvas, all done with palette knives. So far it has taken about 2 months on and off to complete this painting. mainly because it takes about 3 weeks between sessions for it to dry enough to work on the next session. But nearly there. I figure I have about 2 sessions to go.

Here he is. A very grumpy clown.
